Employer Introduction:
Having been in the education business since 1993, the IEES Education Group has established one company and three education institutions in China, which are Henan International Education Exchanges & Services. Ltd, Kingsford International College, Kingsford International High School and Kingsway International Language School. IEES has also set up its branch companies and offices in Australia, Hong Kong, America and other countries in Europe and Asia. IEES’ China headquarter is currently situated on Level 13, Upper East International Plaza, No. 7 Shangwu Waihuan Road, CBD Zhengzhou New East District, Zhengzhou, Henan Province, P. R. China. IEES also works in partnership with NCUK (www.ncuk.ac.uk) delivering NCUK programmes to prepare students for progression to undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes at universities in the UK and Australia.At present, IEES is looking to recruit experienced EAP teachers to teach at our Kingsford International College.
These programmes prepare Chinese students for their degree study in the UK and Australia.

Positions available: EAP Teacher (English for Academic purpose)

Primary Responsibility:
Teach EAP( English for Academic Purpose) to high school or college students

Essential Requirements:
1. Academic qualification at graduate level.
2. A recognized teaching qualification in TEFL or TESOL such as Trinity or Cambridge DELTA.
3. A minimum of two years relevant teaching experience in EAP.
4. The ability to contribute to integrated teaching across the curriculum.
5. An understanding of UK/western higher education and the needs and requirements of international students.
6. Direct experience of further and higher education in an international context.
7. Experience of academic assessment, standards and quality assurance procedures.

Other desirable experiences will also be considered:
1. Specific experience of international education in China;
2. Experience of the development of academic programmes;
3. Experience of teaching non-native speakers of English;
4. An understanding and appreciation of private sector education;
5. Experience of living and working in China;

Skills
1. Demonstrable cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
2. A commitment to teamwork, to working flexibly and to seeking solutions to problems.
3. A record of achievement in teaching.
4. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including native speaker fluency in English. Numerate and articulate.
5. Competence in the effective use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).
6. Proven planning and organizational skills and an ability to take initiative within curriculum and policy objectives.
7. The ability to contribute to study programme development.
8. A record of attention to detail, thoroughness and fairness.
9. The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, work under pressure and, when necessary, with minimal resources.

Remuneration and Allowances：
• Monthly Salary: Attractive salary package from RMB10000 to 15000or above, negotiable depending on skills, experience and academic background;
• Accommodation allowance: RMB 1,000 per month;
• Flights allowance: RMB 8,000 per year.

Workload: 20 teaching hours and 15 office hours per week
Contracts: one year renewable
