Who is suitable for this job?

We are looking for the teachers who are 25 years old or above and:

- are either a UK, Irish, Canadian, American, NZ, Australian or RSA Native English Speaker;

- have a university degree and a recognized EFL qualification, e.g.: TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc.

- are looking for a challenge and enjoy working with young learners;

- are outgoing, enthusiastic, positive, sociable, hard-working, patient and professional;

§ Relevant experience is definitely an advantage;

§ Applications from people who do not meet all of the above criteria shall still be considered.

Period of Contract

Minimum 12 months.

Teaching Hours

80 hours per month, this means normally within 20 hours per week.

Weekly Schedule

- The Teacher’s standard working schedule is 5 days per week, and this will include Saturday and Sunday.

- The Teacher will have two days-off in a week, and this will be scheduled on Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday.

- The Teacher may be required to work 6 days in a row during the period of public schools’ winter/summer holidays, and in such case, the Teacher will be compensated by extra paid annual leaves.

Monthly salary

1. Basic Salary

5,600 RMB

2. Increment for related teaching experience

+ 500 RMB

3. Increment for qualification of (TEFL/TESOL /CELTA).

+ 250 RMB

Accommodation

&

Housing Allowance

Scheme I:

The teacher may stay in school’s apartments, in which you have your own private room, but share the central facilities, such as laundry, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The apartments are in the center of the city.

Scheme II:

In case that the teacher wish to rent his/her own apartment, we will provide a Housing Allowance of 1,700RMB, and the Teachers’ Welfare Officer and other academic staffs will help the teacher to find a suitable apartment.

*A well-equipped apartment normally cost 2,300 ~ 2,500 RMB in Nanjing.

Other benefits

1. The teacher is entitle to the performance bonus scheme;

2. Paid Leave. (inclusive of national and school holidays, i.e. days when the school is closed)

Medical and Accident

Insurance

Scheme I:

The teacher may join the School’s group insurance scheme, of which the premium will be paid by the School.

Scheme II:

In case that the teacher wish to have his/her own insurance, the School will provide an Insurance Allowance of 1,300RMB.

Arrival

&

Support

- The Teachers’ Welfare Officer will pick you up at Nanjing airport or train station on your arrival;

- In case that your flight’s destination is not Nanjing, we will arrange airport/train station pick up for you or help you to travel to Nanjing;

- You will be placed in School’s apartment or hotel for the first 4 days on your arrival, and the Teachers’ Welfare Officer will help you to settle down in Nanjing.

*The amount shown is for reference only. The criteria for Performance Bonuses will be decided by the SES School and may be modified from time to time following periodic review to match with the development and operational needs of the school. Base on existing bonus policy, the actual amount of performance bonus will be calculated by the retention rate of students.
